Dr. Krishankant Sharma is a highly accomplished Interventional Cardiologist with over 20 years of dedicated service in cardiac medicine and interventional procedures. Currently serving as HOD, Director & Chief Senior Interventional Cardiologist at Shree Bajrangdasbapa Arogyadham, Bhavnagar (in association with Rhythm Heart Institute), he brings a rare combination of academic rigour, clinical precision, and compassionate patient care.
Trained at some of India's most respected institutions, Dr. Sharma holds a DNB in General Medicine from Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital, Jaipur, and a DNB in Cardiology from Baroda Heart Institute and Research Centre, Vadodara. He is internationally recognised as a Fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI), USA — one of the most prestigious cardiology fellowships in the world.
With more than 10,000 Cath Lab procedures to his credit — including primary PTCA, complex angioplasty, peripheral angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and pericardiocentesis — Dr. Sharma is one of Gujarat's most experienced interventional cardiologists. His academic contributions include presentations at national conferences and a published case report in the Journal of Association of Physicians of India.
